Jessica Weingarten, Steve Kaess, Mike Fisher, Jon Zucker and Yvonne Brownlee were present. The meeting was called to order at 2:30 by Yvonne Brownlee. Pete Stevens and Steve Polsz arrived about 5 minutes later. There was no quorum, so all decisions are pending approval at the next ExComm meeting.Minutes: The July minutes were approved pending quorum vote.Treasurer: The treasurers report was approved pending quorum vote.Membership: Steve Polsz is settling in to his new job and has membership lists available for sub-group coordinators by zip code.Program: They continue.Proteus: The editor reported that September will be 16 pages and that it is the annual newsletter exchange with other editors.Public Relations: Mike Fisher now holds this position. If events are to be advertised for coordinators they must be received by the calendar editor by the 7th of the previous month.RG: Moving along about like last year. Next meeting Sept. 11.Webmaster: Things are getting better.Old Business: Programs to encourage renewals: postponed until after RG.40th Anniv: We should advertise for NTD at the WHYY fundraiser which is just before National Testing Day.Obsolete EIN: Tabled until next month.Needy Members Program: Tabled until next month.WHYY TV Fundraiser: Steve Kaess will set this up for a Saturday night in December.New Business:Nominating Committee: Proposed to have the same committee as last time. ExComm must appoint three members by 1/7, and they select the chair.
